Commercial Independence

Last updated: 18 August 2026

AIWeekly earns revenue from advertising, sponsorship, affiliate arrangements and paid services. This policy sets out the boundary between that revenue and our editorial output.

What commercial partners cannot do

  • Buy a rating, ranking, award or editorial conclusion
  • Approve, review or veto editorial copy before publication
  • Require the removal of accurate, evidenced criticism
  • Obtain guaranteed coverage of announcements

What commercial partners can do

  • Buy clearly labelled advertising placements
  • Sponsor clearly labelled content, produced to our editorial standards and marked as sponsored
  • Participate in affiliate programmes, disclosed on the pages where those links appear
  • Submit factual corrections with supporting evidence

Labelling

Sponsored tool entries, sponsored articles and affiliate links are labelled at the point of use, not only in a policy page. If a page contains monetised links, that page carries the disclosure.

Conflicts of interest

Where AIWeekly, its owners or its contributors hold a commercial interest in an organisation being covered, that interest is disclosed in the relevant article. Contributors with a material conflict do not review the affected product.
